Experience the Grand Opening of Osteria Toscana in Huntington and enjoy Chef Joe Maulo's authentic Tuscan menu. Chef Maulo, formerly of Il Toscana in Douglaston, brings his delectable Italian cuisine to Huntington Village, just north of the movie theater on Wall Street. The Reststar Hospitality Group is pleased to announce a partnership with Executive Chef Maulo who, along with Hugo Garcia of Café Buenos Aires and Bistro Cassis will introduce his Italian specialties in a newly designed setting.

Chef Maulo creates his delectable appetizers with a Tuscan twist like Polpette, veal meatballs with melted leeks and eggplant caponata, and Fritto, polenta crusted mixed seafood. Osteria Toscana's menu also includes Tagliatelle dressed with a traditional Bolognese sauce and Branzino, a grilled whole roasted seabass served with potatoes, tomatoes and olives in a lemon-rosemary oil.

All pastas are freshly made in- house ---Maulo's hand-rolled semolina pasta called Pici, a true Tuscan specialty pasta, served with a San Marzano tomato sauce, makes its debut on Long Island here at Osteria Toscana. Gnudi, pasta made with ricotta cheese and topped with speck, mushrooms asparagus and truffle oil is a delicious, yet simple indulgence. Once a week, Chef Maulo will feature a Sunday sauce of country pork ribs, Italian sausage and meatballs in a slow-cooked tomato gravy---a meal as close to Nonna's home cooking as you can get outside of Grandma's kitchen.

Dolce, or sweets, are unforgettable takes on the classic desserts such as deconstructed Tiramisu and Ravioli Croccanti, crispy chocolate ravioli with Nutella and caramel sauces.
